The obstetrics-gynecology team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, led by Dr. Muna Qasim, successfully removed a uterine mass for a 47-year-old woman who presented to the hospital in a critical condition, suffering from severe uterine bleeding and his blood percentage was 4.
Our media department reported that the patient was admitted to the Ob-Gyn Department and underwent all the necessary lab tests and radiology exams which revealed that she has a uterine mass the size of a 9-month-old fetus. The mass was made up of fibrous nodes attached to the uterus.
The patient received 6 blood bags and she underwent a total hysterectomy. This high-precision surgery was very successful, praise be to Allah.
