A specialized medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital was able to remove a kidney stone from a girl who was only 4 years old.
The general surgery specialist at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Riyad Rashid, stated:
“The girl was complaining of having kidney stones when she was four years old.”
He adds:
“At Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, we performed a nephroscopy procedure for her to remove the kidney stones under general anesthesia under the supervision of anesthesiologist Dr. Zaid al-Moussawi.”
He confirmed that
“After the success of the operation, the patient came out feeling better.”
