A specialized medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital was able to remove a tumor in the adrenal gland of a 55-year-old patient.
The urology specialist at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Riad Rashid, mentioned:
“The patient complains of a gunshot wound from the Iraqi war, and because of it, he had a laparotomy at that time.”
He adds:
“The patient visited Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital complaining of a tumor in the left adrenal gland.”
Adding:
“We performed a laparoscopy and tumor removal, which is a supra-major and dangerous operation.”
He confirmed that
“The results of the operation were excellent, and praise be to God, the operation was completed and the patient came out feeling better.”
