IHH media department reported that the case was of a woman in her fifties who was referred to a cardiologist to complete her treatment.
The CT scan, performed by Dr. Emad Hussein Al-Kufaishi and Dr. Ahmed Hussein Abbas, revealed that the patient was suffering from an aortic dissection, a rare and serious condition that is difficult to detect through examinations, and thus often leads to death.
Immediately, the emergency doctor prepared her and referred her to a cardiologist for an emergency operation.
