A medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital was able to remove a large tumor on the left adrenal gland of a 45-year-old man.
Urology specialist at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Riyad Rashid, stated, “This surgery is one of the most difficult and rare laparoscopic surgeries due to the location of the gland, as it secretes toxic substances that can cause the patient’s death during the operation.”
He explains: “The tumor was removed through laparoscopic surgery without any complications. The operation took 3 hours and the patient came out feeling better, alhamdulillah.”
