Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital recently received a case of a man in his 60s complaining of chest pain and dyspnea. He visited a few hospitals in Lebanon where he was diagnosed with severe LAD stenosis and was a candidate for open-heart surgery, however, he decided to return to Iraq.
The man said that he started following the hospital news through the Facebook page and he read about a similar case of a patient who was treated with cardiac catheterization at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital which is known for its medical technology and highly-qualified staff. The man received two mesh placements and the procedure, which was performed by interventional cardiologist Hussein Al-Chaabi, was very successful and he was discharged after making a full recovery.
