Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital continues to record new cases of twin pregnancies and births, as mothers prefer the healthcare services provided by our Obstetrics-Gynecology Department.
Dr. Alya Al-Musawi reported that she received a woman in her 40s who has been struggling with primary infertility for 20 years and has a past medical history of hypertension and diabetes. She underwent in-vitro fertilization outside of Iraq and on the third attempt, the IVF was successful.
Dr. Al-Musawi added: “I performed a C-section with the assistance of anesthesiologist Abd Al-Ameer Noori and everything went smoothly for the first-time mother and her twin babies.”
