The Iraqi Accreditation System (IQAS) has recently renewed the ISO certificate for the biochemistry unit at the clinical laboratory department of Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital. The Head of the Lab, Dr. Fatin Al-Musawi reported that IQAS regularly visits the unit to ensure proper documentation and the accuracy of test results through internal and external quality control programs. Our laboratory received an impressive evaluation in comparison with 55000 laboratories around the world.
