The inpatient suites at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital boast maximum aesthetics, comfort, and efficiency. They include single-bed and double-bed rooms. All rooms are furnished with white medical curtains to provide patients with privacy. In each room, there’s a locker, a programmed TV with over 200 satellite channels, a bathroom, and sanitary facilities that were built in accordance with health safety standards. The patient’s bed is equipped with a medical bedhead unit containing electrical inlets, medical gas outlets, ceiling and clinical lights for each unit. As for the room walls, they are covered with Islamic geometric patterns and decorations, inspired by the holy land of Karbala. The wide windows of the rooms are covered with white curtains to obscure unwanted light during sleep and resting. The floors are furnished with natural antibacterial Linoleum. Lights supported by an uninterruptible power supply system (UPS), have been installed in all rooms to overcome power outages (for even a few seconds). The rooms are also equipped with a firefighting system of water sprinklers, supported by smoke detectors.
The spacious VIP inpatient room at the Obstetrics-Gynecology Department is equipped with a bathtub, a wash basin, and an uninterrupted heating system.
It’s also furnished with a medical bed for the mother, a baby crib, a two-seater sofa, and two sleeper chairs for the comfort and convenience of the patient’s family.
The room has a locker for clothes and other belongings, a telephone to call the staff when needed, and a refrigerator filled with healthy food.
There’s a paravan separating the room from the hallway to prevent any invasion of privacy.
One of the most important features of the VIP room is that all stages of childbirth and painless normal delivery can be done here, and that’s because the patient’s bed can be converted into a delivery table, therefore the patient doesn’t have to move across different rooms.
