The medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital performed a complex surgery for a man in his 60s with severe fractures in both legs.
Orthopedic surgeon Ali Tariq revealed that the patient was in critical condition as he was suffering from an intracranial hematoma which posed a major challenge for the anesthesiologist, Dr. Zaid Al-Musawi. However, the latter skillfully kept the patient in a stable state.
The surgeon-in-charge adds: “We performed two surgeries to fix the broken bones in the patient’s legs using metal implants. The surgery was done in record time (1 hour).”
