The central laboratory at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received the ISO certificate of accreditation in biochemistry. With this local and international recognition of the quality and accuracy of the tests conducted at the hospital, our laboratory has been ranked 4th place on a national scale and it’s the first-ever and the only lab in the holy city of Karbala and the Euphrates region to be honored with this locally and internationally approved certification.
Experts from the Iraqi Accreditation System (IQAS) performed a series of tests, field visits, and in-depth inspection to guarantee that the staff was well-trained and highly-qualified and that the devices were properly standardized and maintained.
