As the sacred month of Muharram approaches, IHH announced the commencement of the mourning season. The hospital held an annual ceremony, attended by both official and public figures, during which the flag of Imam Hussein (as) was raised to signify the beginning of the mourning duration.
During his speech, Mr. Ali Al-Qazwini, CEO of The Development and Relief Foundation, emphasized the importance of commemorating the mourning of Imam Hussein (as) and preparing for the sacred month of Muharram. He highlighted the significance of staying steadfast on the path of Imam Hussein (as) and following his principles in life. Mr. Al-Qazwini concluded his speech by praying for the speedy recovery of the patients.
The ceremony witnessed the attendance of the medical staff and the eulogist, Mohammed Al-Mukhtar, who performed Hussaini poetry. The event ended with the flag of mourning and truth being raised high.
