The surgical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, led by Lebanese spine surgeon Dr. Isaac Lattouf, performed surgery on a 90-year-old patient with broken lumbar vertebrae (L1, L5) which resulted in movement impairment.
Dr. Isaac stated that: “The old man’s condition called for a quick high-precision surgical intervention because he was under local anesthesia.” He added: “The surgery had the most satisfactory outcome when the patient started standing and walking normally. He’s now in good health.”
