A sixty-year-old man survived a severe heart attack due to an almost total blockage in one of the heart’s arteries, after the intervention of a specialized medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.
Dr. Hussein Al-Chaabi, a specialist in cardiology and catheter therapy at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, stated:
“The patient was suffering from severe chest pain and visited many doctors and health institutions, but he was not treated.”
He adds:
“At Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, we performed an ECG, an echocardiogram, a diagnostic catheterization, and all the necessary tests for the patient, and it was found that there was an almost total blockage with a clot in the right artery of the heart.”
Dr. Al-Chaabi explains:
“We performed a therapeutic catheterization and administered the appropriate medication for the clot.”
He continues:
“We followed up on the patient after the catheterization procedure for 24 hours, after which he was discharged from the hospital in good health.”
