The urology team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital successfully performed a rare surgery for a 4-month old boy.
Dr. Haider Al-Qadhi reported that the patient suffered from a buried penis due to an incorrect circumcision that resulted in scrotal lymphedema and urinary retention. The infant underwent a cosmetic surgery to reconstruct the genital area and remove the scar tissue. The surgery was successful and was performed with the assistance of urologist Ammar Majeed Mehdi.
