Medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital successfully saved the life of a young man from a rare condition after he suffered from a heart attack.
Dr. Hussein Al-Chaabi, interventional cardiologist at our hospital said: “The young man arrived at the emergency department experiencing severe chest pain.”
He adds: “After conducting the necessary tests and an electrocardiogram, it became evident that the patient was experiencing a severe heart attack, which is rare at his age.”
Al-Chaabi Adds: “To prevent the patient’s condition from worsening (bearing in mind that heart attacks at this age can be more critical), we swiftly proceeded with an urgent diagnostic angiography to identify the blocked artery.”
He adds: “Following the angiography, we found a nearly complete blockage of around 99% in one of his arteries. A stent was inserted to open the blocked artery, and the patient was closely monitored for 24 hours. Praise be to Allah, he is now in good health,”
