The urology team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital performed a successful prostatectomy for a patient in his 70s suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Mohammed Salama, Lebanese urology surgeon, stated that: “The patient visited the hospital complaining of prostate enlargement at 120 grams. The medical examination determined that it was necessary to remove the prostate gland, and we were able to end the old man’s suffering using the latest techniques of laser laparoscopy.”
