Established in 2017, the annual “Saqi Karbala” camp provides medical services to Imam Hussain (AS) pilgrims on Arbaʽeen. During the first two years, the hospital set up camp at the Pilgrim Road connecting the cities of Karbala and Najaf. The camp has been relocated to the Emergency Department of Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital where it provides a wide range of treatment services using advanced medical technology and under the supervision of expert physicians and nurses. 

Over the years, the camp has treated large numbers of pilgrims, free of charge, with the hospital staff being fully prepared to receive hundreds of patients from different age groups, on a daily basis. 

“Saqi Karbala” also offers leaflets, posters, and stickers to educate the pilgrims about health, hygiene, and infection control.
