He returned from abroad with confidence and left the hospital healthy: Laparoscopic removal of a large renal tumor at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital

It wasn’t an easy road, but trust was his compass. A 50-year-old patient from Najaf was informed that he had to travel outside Iraq for a complex surgery to remove a large tumor on his right kidney, attached to his small intestine. He was asked for large sums of money, but his heart chose a different path: To return to Iraq and believe in the competence of our doctors.

The patient arrived at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, where he was received by Dr. Amir al-Araji, a urology specialist, with a specialized medical team. After conducting the necessary tests, the presence of the tumor was confirmed, and the team decided on immediate surgical intervention.

The tumor was completely removed using advanced laparoscopic surgery, in an operation that lasted only an hour and a half, without the need for a wide surgical opening or additional complications.

The patient was then discharged from the hospital in full health and wellness, thanking God for the success of the procedure, and thanking the medical team for restoring his hope without burdening him with heavy costs.

The medical team performing the surgery:
Dr. Amir Al-Araji urology specialist.
Dr. Zuhair Saleh, general surgery specialist.
Dr. Abdul Amir Nouri, anesthesiologist.

The surgery was carried out at a much lower cost than outside Iraq, with the same level of medical and technical competence, reaffirming that Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital is not only an edifice of medicine, but a haven of trust.
