She underwent lab tests, a CT scan, and medical examination by Dr. Hazim Moojid who determined that the patient had an obstruction of the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid (hydrocephalus), which increased the pressure inside her head. Dr. Moojid said: &#8220;We drained the cerebrospinal fluid via a ventriculoperitoneal shunt. The surgery was successful and the patient regained consciousness and resumed breastfeeding.
