As a result, more than one physician had declined to perform the operation.<br\/>     <\/p>\n\n<p>However, at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, careful assessment and thorough preparation led to a different outcome.<br\/> <br\/>Urology specialist Dr. Ameer Al-Araji, in collaboration with anesthesiologist Dr. Abd Al-Ameer Nouri, successfully performed the stone removal using percutaneous nephroscopy through a small surgical incision of no more than 1 cm, relying on regional anesthesia instead of general anesthesia to minimize risk.<br\/>    <\/p>\n\n<p>Dr. Al-Araji explained:<br\/>\u201cThe case was particularly complex due to the large size of the stone and the patient\u2019s overall health condition.
