When she visited our hospital, the necessary tests were conducted on her, and it was found that there was a huge cystic tumor adjacent to the spine and part of it connected to the spinal canal.<br>The medical team (consisting of Consultant Dr. Ihsan Al-Amri, a specialist in thoracic and vascular medicine and surgery, and Dr. Hazem Mojed, a specialist in brain, nerve and vertebral surgery) diagnosed the seriousness of the condition and the possibility of the patient suffering from paralysis of the lower extremities as a result of pressure on the nerve cord.<br>Therefore, the medical team decided to perform a laparoscopic surgical procedure, and the tumor was completely removed without the need for a chest opening.<br>According to the medical team, the operation took two hours, and the patient was discharged to the inpatient ward without the need for intensive care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
