Interventional cardiologist Emad Marji explains: &#8220;The patient presented to our emergency department at around 2:00 AM of new year&#8217;s eve. He received primary care and was sent to the cath lab where he underwent emergency diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization. We discovered that he had severe stenosis in the left descending artery as well as in the posterior artery. We placed two meshes to open the blockages and the patient&#8217;s heart started to function properly.
