Patient Rights
\nEvery patient entering the hospital has the right to:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\r\n

<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

- Know and understand his lefts inside or outside the hospital which must comply with the current lists and rules.<\/td><\/tr>
- Know and understand our mission statement, and all the services we provide, and how to receive them.<\/td><\/tr>
- Know and understand his medical condition, and participate in the decisions related to his treatment, and the expected results and cost.<\/td><\/tr>
- Know the name and job title of the physician, nurse, or technician-in-charge who's supervising his treatment.<\/td><\/tr>
- Receive the necessary healthcare with full respect and equity. Translation services must be available when needed.<\/td><\/tr>
- Receive the type of healthcare that is in line with his values, personal beliefs, and his spiritual and religious needs.<\/td><\/tr>
- Receive a complete medical report of his health condition (test types and results, final diagnosis, invasive and noninvasive surgeries he underwent, and the prescribed medicines and drugs) and a discharge report about his health condition when he leaves the hospital. The patient has the left to refuse publishing or circulating this information and data without his consent.<\/td><\/tr>
- Refuse or discontinue treatment. The patient's decision must be respected in a manner that does not conflict with the laws and regulations.<\/td><\/tr>
- Receive the proper treatment for pain relief, and receive dignified end-of-life care.<\/td><\/tr>
- Know the prices of all services and procedures.<\/td><\/tr>
- Maintain his privacy, confidentiality, and dignity. The patient has the left to be escorted by an individual of the same gender if certain areas of his body must be exposed during medical examination or treatment.<\/td><\/tr>
- The patient must be protected from all physical and psychological harm, and he can refuse meeting or talking to unauthorized individuals.<\/td><\/tr>
- Protect his belongings from theft, loss, and damage.<\/td><\/tr>
- Submit a complaint or a suggestion without fear or pressure.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Patient Obligations
\nThe patient or his escort are obligated to:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\r\n

<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

- Provide all information related to the patient's health, including medicines or any substances he uses, illnesses that have already been treated, infectious diseases and allergies, and his previous admission to the hospital.<\/td><\/tr>
- Respect and follow the regulations and rules of the hospital, such as setting dates, visitation period, and the number of visitors. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed to stay overnight. Food, weaponry, large sums, and valuable items are not allowed to enter the hospital (except deposits).<\/td><\/tr>
- Inform the medical team about any symptoms or changes in the patient's health condition, including any feelings of pain.<\/td><\/tr>
- Inform the physician about not wanting to continue the treatment plan. The patient assumes responsibility for any consequences resulting from refusing treatment or leaving the hospital despite the physician's advice, and he must sign the necessary declaration.<\/td><\/tr>
- Stay at the hospital during the period of treatment (at the inpatient ward), except upon the physician's and administration's approval.<\/td><\/tr>
- Preserve all hospital facilities and property allocated to his service, and not lose or damage them.<\/td><\/tr>
- Abide by the \"no smoking\" law throughout the hospital. Violators will be fined.<\/td><\/tr>
- Fulfill the financial obligations towards the hospital on the scheduled dates (wages and costs of services and treatment, and financial penalties resulting from cases of loss, damage, delay, and violation of regulations and instructions).<\/td><\/tr>
- Respect all health workers, not attack them in any verbal or physical form, and not interfere with their work or disturb them.<\/td><\/tr>
- The patient is not entitled to infringe on the lefts of other patients, attack them, or violate their dignity, or reveal what he witnesses about them.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
