There are several merits and advantages in Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, on the basis of which patients choose its medical services, where some are listed below:
Elegant and delightful facilities:
The hospital building has been carefully designed by institutions and consultants specialized in the field of hospital construction and operation. These consultants have taken into consideration international standards for modern healthcare systems. The hospital has been furnished with medical furniture suited for the patient’s physical, psychological and spiritual comfort. The hospital has also been equipped with the latest medical technology used worldwide. In addition, it has implemented an integrated “HIMS” (Hospital Information Management System), which enhances the safety and wellbeing of the patients and visitors alike while preventing medical and financial errors that may occur due to possible random mistakes, rendering the operation system efficient.
The hospital is characterized by possessing medical, nursing and administrative staffs who have mastered the art of embracing and engaging with all clients, whether they are patients, guests and visitors, government agencies or commercial businesses. The hospital also provides the patients and their families with the desired services with high professionalism and morals, where these professionals keep in mind the holy verse: “And lower unto them the wing of humility, out of mercy” when dealing with the patients to remove some of the physical or psychological stress that they and their families suffer from. Our work philosophy is based on the fact that our respected patient is always right, though sometimes fallen into error. Staffs are trained to contain and embrace them, and to address complaints, if there were any. Therefore, the patients and their families feel comfortable, reassured and confident in the level of care at this medical center.
One of the pillars of the hospital’s philosophy of medical care is the diligence in attracting prominent and warmhearted doctors who are experienced and accomplished in the medical fields, either permanent physicians or in the form of short but continuous visits throughout the year (Locum).
We have had the honor of hosting international doctors who have enriched our hospital with their distinguished medical expertise and wisdom; physicians such as Prof. Sarwat Husain, the first Chief Medical Officer of the hospital, and consultant interventional radiologist; surgeon Dr. Yasser Haidar, and surgeon Dr. Morteza Adeeb, in the field of orthopedics and joint replacement, as well as Dr. Isaac Lattouf, spine and neurosurgeon. In addition, the hospital hosts physicians from outstanding health centers in the U.S, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Indian subcontinent for medical consultations as well as training and development of our medical and nursing staffs.
The credentialing committee for the evaluation and placement of doctors at the hospital -which is composed of local and international specialists and professionals- investigates and evaluates the new physicians at the hospital, as well as review their certificates and experience documentations, and then grants them the professional privileges to start working at the hospital. It must be emphasized that no physician is excluded from this process.
Our physicians deal with the patients before the disease, and ensure and preserve the patients’ health and psychological safety and wellbeing, during their stay at the hospital and after they are discharged.
Safeguarding Patient Privacy:
Looking after the patient and paying attention to his/her individuality is one of the basic pillars of modern healthcare which the hospital not only seeks to reinforce but to spread public awareness and educate society about it as well, for the sake of upholding this humane and religious principle.
Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital offers the best medical services according to world-class standards to all patients, regardless of their geographical, ethnic and ideological affiliations, while focusing on the underprivileged and destitute.
In the absence of government support and health insurance companies, the patient; unfortunately, finds himself/herself obliged to bear the costs of treatment in private hospitals, which are prohibitive. Therefore, the philosophy of establishing Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital was to alleviate the suffering of the deprived and low-income classes. Prices were chosen to correspond with the average income of citizens and to be much lower than what other private health centers charge.
In addition, there are special forms for low-income and needy families which they can fill-out to get additional discounts or free medical services. Our urgent care (Emergency) unit; receives patients for two hours free admission from 1:30 to 3:30 pm every day throughout the year.
